Her previous car was a BMW 740iL so she became accustomed to large and solid and comfortable, but had become weary of the increasing trips to the shop.

The big Lexus was the obvious choice for a replacement. The customer service aspect of Lexus Service is another big selling point - no more rental car hassles!

To me, the LS is a bit too floaty compared to the 740 - it doesn't have a sport suspension mode (and my daily driver is a Porsche 928 GTS), but she loves the smooth ride.
