#1 list price is $44,000 and has 25K miles. No dealer fee and 30 day warranty. Sold by retailer of certified used cars.

#2 list price $49,000, 19K miles. But is certified (3yr 100,000 miles warranty) Also has Mark Levinson Audio, advanced parking guidance & paint protection film. Dealer fee $700. Sold by a Lexus Dealer.

My question is what #2 is offering (6,000 less miles, Certification, Mark Levinson, etc) worth the extra $5,000 + dealer fee??
The warranty on #2 is worth about $2k if you were to purchase it separately through a couple of Lexus vendors on here. The paint protection film, if installed by Lexus, is not as extensive as what I usually put on the car and usually only includes a part of the hood and front quarter panels so you could probably add a $400 value to that if it is worth it to you. If it has a full clear bra on the front bumper too you could add another $400 to the value (I personally value clear bras as I put them on my cars). Mark Levinson is a personal choice and doesn't really add value to the car but to me it is definitely worth it. For a stock system it is amazing especially compared to the other Mark Levinson systems in the other Lexus' besides the LX. I am sure the certified car has new tires on as well which could add another $1,000 to the value. Is it worth the extra $5,700, that is up to you but I am sure you can negotiate it down. I would negotiate and pick the car with the color/options you want.

Default 2010 460 awd l

This seems to be the thread to ask this question. First, hello, I am new to the boards. After owning a 400 and then 430 I am now shopping for a 2010 LWB. I have a dealer quoting me a bottom line of $38,900 for a 2010 AWD, L, standard suspension, mark levison sound. It has fairly high mileage for the year at 56K and it was driven near Detroit, so it has seen its share of winters. That said, it looks very clean in the pictures, the color I want, and it seems like a pretty good price. Any insight on price or questions to the dealer are appreciated. Thanks,

that's not a bad price for a 2010 imo. i paid about 42k for my 07 460l cpo with around 45k miles. air suspension, mark levinson, rear seat package. black on black. also 56k is not much on these cars. lexus are built to last. everyone says that its starts to break in at 100k. i plan to drive this car well past 200k.

Thanks for the info. I bought #2 for about 3K more than #1. Got the dealer fee waved too. #1 was very tired looking and even had some noise out of the brakes when driving it. Love #2 and is super clean. Plus Lexus Dealer was very, very good. Best buying experience I have ever had in my 50 some years of buying cars.
