man if there were factory 20's i would powder coat them and roll like that during the winter..
They are not 20's but I chose to roll out with the factory powder coated wheels for the winter. Now I'm looking at spending no more then 7k, so I guess that makes me "Enthusiast- Mid level"
20s way too small. Keep your factory rims. Stop it, 20s would not look killer on a car this size. 20s would look killer on an IS, not LS.
Although lipped 20s may appear to look small, but a wheel that has spokes going all the way to the edge like the CV3 or some others make the wheel appear larger, especially lowered. I have seen dropped LS460s on the factory 19s and they look pretty good to me. I'm sure Lexus is working on 22"+ wheels for the next gen LS..as well as BMW and Benz for their next big body models... who knows, maybe one day..but then folks will say they need 24s...where does it stop lol
I guess this is really a question for wheels guys. I wouldn't pay anything for wheels because I'm not into them, but i probably would spend thousands on audio equipment because that's one of the things I am interested in. Heck i spent over 10K for home theater speakers in 1995 and that's not counting the preamps, amps and the analog rig (tube amps rule). Anyone seeing the price tag on that stuff would tell me I'm as crazy as I think you are for spending 12K on wheels for a Caddy... LOL...

Are you telling all of us now, almost 20 years later, that you didn't plunk down virtually $100K for a set of Infinity IRS Towers ?
I mean wut kinda Audiophile are ya, anyways ? < LOL ! > Lordy, this is sumptin' to be totally ashamed of. I don't even know where to go at this point. <More LOL !>
He**, a REAL man would trade any 'ole LS460 for a good pair of Audio Research tube amps !@
Or, better yet, a NEW Skeeter 22i bass boat !@!
Oh, this is TOO funny. Thanks for sharing, mannye. Loved your "take" on life. It IS totally refreshing !

it's ok -- if i could afford it and had the space i would cop some crazy audio gear too. my friend's dad had this amazing setup that cost something like $125k. listening to diana krall on that setup almost made me cry hahaha
