This one shows you how it lines up with the lines of the room. My BMW one went edge to edge on the windshield. You have to have it line up with the drip rail or it won't be centered.
This one shows you how it needs to lay over the roof, the perpendicular strip that lines up with the light and the windshield. BMW was just windshield.
This is where I got it from on eBay. Seller is in Texas so I had to pay sales tax but... eBay has been doing tons of coupons so I used a 20% off one so it was around 200 painted and shipped. Came two days after I ordered it.
This resller had had a couple other DAR spoiler for sale and I asked him if he could sell one one that fit the LS and he created a listing for me.
Thanks bigsherv! Looks really good! Ebay is exactly where i was looking to get the spoiler. Wasnt trying to spend 900 for a roof wing thats held on by double sided tape. Im actually about to buy the unpainted version of the roof and trunk spoiler for less than 300 and have a local shop painted(was quoted around~100$) .
Which trunk one did you buy and what year is your LS? There seems to be only 1 spoiler that works with the later models LS460. All the rest come from Japan and are a ton of money.
I bought the DAR roof spoiler...I couldn’t stand how terrible the fit was from the front. The edge that meets the roof is nearly a half inch higher than the roof line. For something that’s supposed to help air flow over the top was way to abrupt and just looked like bad craftsmanship. It was also slightly warped and had to rely on the double sided tape. You get what you pay for....
Here are some close ups of roof and trunk spoilers fro Dallas Automotive. Paid 400 shipped and painted to match factory paint and 3m tape . Make sure to have someone to help with install for allignment .
