FrankyBoy is rolling 265/30 rears..check out his build thread or Vossen site for pics on how it looks. I think max width recommendation is 10" wide but Franky hasn't had issues on the rear 10.5" Vossens
Check out that sticky thread I started..various 22 tire combos listed there also

If guys are comparing a standard load passenger tire let's say 97 or 95 to a XL 92 or 95 they pretty much balance themselves out, also the load rating equals the maximum load a tire can carry before belt/tire failure occurs which is pretty much impossible on a passenger car under normal driving conditions... also load range & tread wear are total different animals one has nothing to do with the other.balance, camber, caster, toe & psi affect tire wear..
If your really worried about tread wear look at the UTQG rating the higher the number the harder the compound resulting in better tread wear. but there's a trade off which would be less grip/traction
Basically if you want a certain tire there's multiple variables you should/can consider before purchasing the tire but load rating isn't the be all end all of a tire purchase

Ok quick question.. I have a 07 gs350 and just got some 2crave n14 22" rims. They came with 255/30/22 tires
And when I tried to put them on the back of the tire was hitting my strut. With spacers to clear it I don't have enough stud to secure my lug nuts.. So was told I need 235/30/22 on the front (not to mention I'm rubbing the fender well like crazy) any suggestions?? Car is stock not lowered
