First off, let me say that I absolutely LOVE my LS460 L. The interior of this car is almost astonishing (yes, it's that nice). That said, I have the Executive Seating Package and the more I think about Lexus' implementation of this option, the more baffled I am by how they chose to execute this option.
For starters, my understanding is that this was an obscenely expensive option (I believe in the $10K to $15K range). Why would they only offer the massage option on the passenger side? I guess I understand not allowing the seat behind the driver's seat not to have an ottoman like the passenger side does, but why only have the massage option on one of the seats?
At the end of the day, it's nothing I'm losing sleep over. It just seems like a very illogical thing to me. Not to mention, for what this car costs new (and mine is an 07 with 19K miles on it), the front seats should have the built in massage option, so I could actually enjoy the front seat more than the back seat in this car (the back seat is sooooooooooooooo much nicer in this car).
what really bothers me is the lack of an option for the driver to disable the rear seat control panel -- sometimes i have annoying passengers who like to turn up the volume randomly and it scares me sometimes haha
