Default Lighter

Anyone have any issues with their cig lighter. Mine stopped working. I checked all of the fuses in the trunk and none are popped. The aux in the arm rest and back seat works fine. Do I need to replace the lighter. It's an 08 460.

So is it the actual cigarette lighter (the piece that gets really hot) that is not functioning? If so, I think the size is universal so you could borrow someone else's and see if it works in your car.

One other thought, there are several fuse boxes in the car in case you didn't check them all.

It's not the lighter itself. It's the socket if u will. I was using a portable air compressor to put air into my daughters basket ball I checked the fuse box in te trunk. I guess I have to search for the rest and check them. Thanks.

Yea, check your manual for the locations of all the fuses. If you don't have a manual, let me know and I can look them up for you.

Actually, just log in to Lexus and you can view the manual online.

I'm assuming you plugged it into another socket to prove it was not the compressor itself.

There are five different junction boxes (fuse boxes) in your car. The trunk, passenger side, driver's side, and two under the hood. Each location has a legend for what fuses cover what circuits.

Looking on www.alldatadiy.com It shows that there is a 15 amp P-CIG fuse located in the "Passenger Side J/B Inner Circuit". I have a 2012 so it might be different on your car.

Good luck, you'll find the fuse.
