Well, I HAVE Smoky Granite and it ALSO looks bad in the sun. So either you want a dark color, and are willing to not look at it in the sun, or you have to go with a lighter color. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we don't get much sun in Pittsburgh!

 

Enough coats of wax and even in the sun, my black LS looks great, paint is soft for real
