Question ls 460 winter tires

Has anyone tried using a size 225/55R-18 instead of a 235/50R-18 winter tire . The tread width is almost one inch narrower and the diameter is just half an inch larger . At 80 MPH the speedometer would show you going 78.6 MPH but it seems the narrower tire would preform better in snow and ice.

I haven't done that with this car, but with my wife's car I always go one width narrower and one profile higher for snow tires. The 225/55R-18 will definitely perform better in snow and on ice than the 235/50R-18.

I have a set of snow wheels I'm selling for the LS460 and in IL as well.
