HID Bulbs- turned off by itself

Hello All,
I have 2007 with 90k miles. Not sure if bulb issue or something else I need to have checked out.
Many times, the left headlight low beam is off. If both of them are on, it will turn itself off after few min.

Any suggestions?

The bulb is going bad. Mine did the same thing. Just replace them and it should be fine.

most likely the bulb. but to be sure you will want to swap the bulbs left and right and see if now it becomes the right bulb

and if replace, i say do both, otherwise color would be different. you can find very affordable philips oem bulbs on ebay

Yea just replaced mine after experiencing what you're experiencing.

Bought them for $140 each from Park Place TX (identical to the stock Japanese Phillips HID bulbs). Found German Phillips on ebay for $70 each but didn't feel comfortable about them. Tried to get the 5K Phillips for a more whitish light (compared to the yellowish 4.3K stock bulbs) but couldn't find a trustworthy place to buy them from so I just decided to stick with the stock ones.

And for the records, the HID bulb part number is 90981‑20024.

have/had the same problem. Dealer diagnosed it to bad bulb, so i have a pair of OEMs(toshibas $35off ebay) and Garax($90) waiting for the return of my SGM.
