Yep, michelins then after that continental dws
Also tire rack.com has some reviews on different tires |
Bridgestone Serenity.... smoothest, quietest tire you can put on here for about 200 a tire
|
I bought the Pirelli P Zero Nero and they're great. I bought them because they were top rated by Tire Rack two tests in a row, and Consumer Reports had them top rated as well.
Edit: Ooops, I just went to Tire Rack and they did a new test this June and the Pirelli's came in 2nd, but the previous two tests the tires came in first. Their comment in the latest test was - What We Liked: Comfortable road manners and ultimate dry and wet traction |
thx time to compare the #'s... which michelin's?

Michelin Pilot sport all season plus. Its hands down the very best tire I have ever used. I would have put them on my LS but they dont make those tires in 22" in my sizes
|
Consumer Reports top three V rated all-season tires are:
Michelin Pilot Firestone Firehawk Bridgestone Turanza Serenity |
After researching this and other sites regarding OEM replacement tires, I narrowed the choices down to the following, in this order:
1) Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus 2) Bridgestone Turanza Serenity 3) Continental Extreme Contact DWS 4) Pirelli PZero Nero All Season My only concern is that the Michelin and Conti have resulted in some LS460's to experience a more pronounced right side drift. |
You know BSL, I just purchased an 09 LS with brand new Mich. Pilots and I am experiencing the right side drift. I thought they needed to be aligned but maybe not. I'll do more research. Hopefully it's not these particular tires. I would be greatly disappointed.
