New(to me) LS460
We just got a 2008 LS460, Charcoal Mica/Black interior, ML sound, heated/cooler/reclining rear sets and all the other standard gear. This car replaced a MB E350, it is primarily the wife's car, but I am considering taking it for myself. Searching for the right rims now!
Congrats!
while the E350 is no slouch, the 380 ponies of the 4.6l V8 may get your attention, not to mention its quiet and extremely comfortable. Perfect for road trips, with an 8 speed gearbox you will find it gets better mileage on the highway than the Es 6 cylinders did. I drove an E also before the LS and there is no looking back now. I am glad I stepped up to the LS over the S class benz.

Agreed! As I know you've recently upgraded from your previous 3GS, How do you find ownership of this flagship? I test drove both last summer and was blown away by how much power is on tap. The interior and overall refinement came as no surprise to me but the power felt very S-class to me. I'm always amazed when people regard the LS as simply a bigger more Lux GS. I feel it's far more than that. What's your take based upon your extensive experience in both?
