Default Tires

I upgraded the tires/wheels a few months ago. I still have the OEM wheels, and the tires were replaced before I bought the car, so they only had a couple thousand miles on the rubber. I'm storing the original set in my garage. My questions are: "Will the rubber de-grade over time?" "Should I maintain the tire pressure or bleed out some of the air while the tires are being stored?" Any advice/info would be appreciated.
