Replacement tires LS460L
I need to replace the factory tires on my LS460L. I researched tires and selected the Michelin Pilot A/S Plus based on tread wear rating , warrenty , heat load rating and cost. The local Costco tire shop said they had put these particular tires on a LS460 and had to take them off due to the tires causing the car to pull left and right. Anyone have any experience on this problem? Recommendations ? LHHIII

If you do end up getting these, last time i checked discount tire had them cheaper..but I am very interested in hearing about this since these tires seem to be very well liked for this car.

I put the exact tire on my car, as recommended here, about a month ago. So far so good. Got the best deal thru TIRERACK

I put on 10K miles on these tires and think they are great so far - we will see what they are like after 50K miles.
I bought them at American Tire at a better price than Costco was offering. I bought my last 5 sets of tires at American Tire because of pricing, prompt service, attention to detail, and knowledge of their product. I also like the free tire rotation and free flat repair. When I have my tires rotated they let me go into the shop area to inspect my brakes and they always use a torque wrench on the lug nuts.

Michelin Tires Pilot Sport vs MXV4 S8
I need to replace the tires on my 2010 LS with the 19" wheel option. I am seeking a comfortable & quiet tire. Is the Pilot Sport comfortable and quiet? The OE Bridgestone's are neither at 23,000 miles. I drive a mix of city and hwy miles and would describe my style as average in terms of being spirited. Any comments on the Pilot Sport or the MXV4 S8? Thanks.

I replaced the crappy Bridgestone EL42s with Michelin Primacy MXM4s a few weeks ago, and they are very quiet and comfortable. Huge improvement.
I think I know where Bridgestone got the design specs for the Turanza EL42s .

The Pilot Sport A/S 3's are not available to the general public just yet. At least not in the U.S. at this time. They don't have a specific launch date and are only saying to expect these in the USA around mid summer. I'm surprised nobody has made mention of Continental yet. I'm a Michelin fan through and through for my toys on both 4 and 2 wheels. But for a change I thought I'd give Continental a try and I'm certainly not disappointed. I purchased the Continental ExtremeContact DWS and am very pleased with them. I'm about 10K miles deep so far and I thought for sure at least road noise would have increased by now. But to my surprise they are still performing like new. Extremely quiet and fantastic in wet weather. And they are even impressive in the snow. I would even say it keeps up with the Pilot Sport A/S Plus's. They only drawback to these Conti's in my opinion is the lack of visual curb appeal. Call it what you will, but beyond performance intel I'm looking forward to sporting the Pilot Sport A/S 3's just to have the "checkered flag" logo on the sidewall. I've always thought that was a neat design.
