4 or 5 wheels?
At some future date, I plan to replace the stock LS 460L wheels with an aftermarket brand. The question is whether to get 4 or 5? Most combo offers are for 4 only. The car already has a full-sized spare. If I get just four on the ground and a tire blows out in Podunk, IA and trashes a wheel, will I be able to use the OEM spare with three aftermarkets? More specifically, how can you drive with 3 19 or 20" wheels and an 18" spare? With aftermarket styles changing faster than computers and cell phones, What is the possibility that the same model will be readily available as a replacement?
Whoops!. I think I may have answered my own question.

Since the tire profile on the 19 or 20" wheels will be less than the profile on the 18" wheels, there shouldn't be a difference. You probably want to keep the rear wheels the same and use the spare on the front, which means if you get a flat on the rear you'll have to move one from the front.
