Floor mats (carpet color?)
I just picked up my 2010 LS460L which has the parchment interior. It came with 'Carpeted Floor Mats', but unlike previous Lexus vehicles I have owned they are not the same color as the interior. They are a very low pile gray, and frankly, do not look very good in this otherwise very nice interior. Is this the norm, as my dealer tells me? They are Lexus branded and fit well, but are nowhere near as nice as the ones in the car I traded in, a 2007 GS450h.
If these are the standard now, are plusher color keyed floor mats available as an accessory?

They must be going to that color in all models. I have a 2010 ES with parchment interior and the same color mats came with the car.
The dealership said they received complaints from customers that the tan, light gray etc. carpeted mats showed dirt too easily and quickly.
Not sure if that's really the reason, but the same thing was mentioned by other owners on the ES forum.

I believe Lexus moved to the dark mats back in 2008. I have the Alabaster interior, and I insisted on the dark mats at delivery as the light mats always looked dirty. To my surprise the car came from the port with the dark mats. There are thicker pile mats available from the dealer (at additonal cost), but I believe they'd be the same color that you currently have.
I have an 09 with cashmere and had the same problem. I was able to get the premium mats that matched.
You can also try these guys www.autoupgradedirect.com . I've bought their mats and was happy with them. Their luxury mat is almost identical to the lexus premium mat.
