No Audio...Speakers are chirping!!! WTF??
So I was driving to work this morning listening to XM...then all of a sudden all the audio went off and the speakers sound like they are chirping. I shut the audio system off and back on that didnt fix it. Then I pulled over and shut the entire car off and restarted same thing.
Anybody heard of this before??????? Its really freakin annoying.
I'm going to call and schedule an appt since I'm still under warranty. I need to have the TSIB for the front seat done and my dash is rattling so might as well get it all checked and fixed before my warranty expires in another 13K miles.
The chirping sound is irritating though...just curious if anybody experienced that before.
Thanks

Thanks for the tip on the fuse...too bad I just drove from Brea to Newport Beach listening to that damn annoying thing. I rolled down the windows to try and tune it out. Those of you out of S. California that is about a 20 minute drive.
Anyways...cars at the dealership now. Will probably hear something tomorrow as I'm also having my AFS looked at along with some TSIB work.
I'll keep you posted. Hopefully they get it done tomorrow. I'm finally scheduled to have my wheels, springs tint and some other stuff done to the car on Saturday.

Just got a call from the dealership. As we all excepected the Amp died. Should arrive on Monday or Tuesday. They insulated the dash rattle and ordered a new cushion for the front seat.
They are still investigating my AFS issue. Hopefully it wont be too expensive but I wont hold my breath. lol

My amp went out recently on my 08 LS460 also. Disappointed about the wait/delivery time for the amp - it's been 7 days so far. This is a known issue and they should stock replacement parts accordingly. Sux!
Yeah I took my car in a Thursday and the amp was delivered on Tuesday. Picked up the car on Thursday as I had the dash rattle looked at along with the front seat TSIB which they royally screwed up and my AFS fixed.

My amp (86280-0W260) in my 460L crapped out and had the chirping noise through the speakers. It was simple to remove the amp and unplug all the connections (ensure to label them to make it easy for the reinstall).
I sent the amp to United Radio in East Syracuse, NY. They received it on a Monday. They repaired and shipped it back to me the following day. Awesome service; the rebuild cost was $325. Did the reinstall and everything is business as usual.
Their website is www.unitedradio.com or 800-448-0944 They deal with all automotive electronics like amp, navigation units, radio, cd players, etc. Make sure you have a part number ready to your part when you call.
