I just purchased a 2010 LS460 AWD and wanted to install the headrest DVD players in the car. After doing some research on the lexus web site I realized that the LS now comes standard with the active resraint headrests. Does any one know if I can still remove the headrest and install the dvd headrest? Will it affect the vehicle? According to Myles & DAvis a company that makes DVD headrests for lexus specific vehicles they have the application listed fits 2007-2009. Can they even be removed since they are active headrest? Any info would be great. If anyone has any other ideas or pics I would appriciate it. I may have to go with the roof mount flip down but prefer the headrest monitors.
