Congrats on picking up the LS Sport We have one just like it on our dealer lot, black on black w/ the burlwood trim interior finish. Great color combo for the Sport model! Also the Brembo brakes and paddle shifters really enhance the driveability of the LS.

Welcome and great choice on color. I think Obsidian for the LS Sport is very elegant and a head turner! I recently evaluated the same exact one for a week. I'm sure you're enjoying the throttle blips upon downshifting in M-Mode. My biggest gripe was how difficult it is to clean the wheels especially with the excessive brake dust from the factory Brembos. I'm no stranger to brake dust as my ISF has this same issue. Luckily the rims are darker and the spokes are easier to access.

Thanks. I'm really enjoying the car although the recent rear ending I experienced has been a downer. The Brembo's do generate a lot of dust very quickly but my now departed 550i was no slouch either on brake dust
generation either. I can say that the brakes work quite well as I was driving on the highway yesterday when a car in the lane to my left had a blowout at about 75 mph. The driver (she) slammed on the brakes and swerved sharply into my lane. I was forced to jam on my brakes to avoid hitting her as there were cars on either side of me and I couldn't change lanes. The brakes performed flawlessly with no fade. Luckily, the car in back of me was far enough away to be able to change lanes without hitting me. I had the car in the Sport suspension setting and there was very little front end drop given the sudden speed reduction.
After the rear ending I experienced Saturday I feel like the guy in the old Little Abner cartoon strip (I know I'm dating myself) with the black cloud following him wherever he goes. I'm starting to get a little paranoid.
