Default Seat Height

Is it my imagination or what? I have a 2002 LS430. Yesterday, I sat in a 2010 LS460 AWD, and it seemed to me that, even at the maximum height of the seat, after I had adjusted it, I was not sitting as high up, which I like to do, as I am able to sit in my own car. Has anyone else noticed this?

I had two LS430s and two LS460s (still have the new 2009 with AWD) and I did not, at all, find that the 460 seat height is lower than the 430.

Prior to buying the 460, I spent a lot of time sitting in a 430, comparing it closely with the former. I really wanted the 430, but ended up with the SWB 460 because the salesman jumped the gun and sold the latter to somebody else. Similar to Daryl, I found no appreciable difference between the two seats. The long wheelbase on the other hand has more front legroom, and does seem to sit lower than the shorter model. But the seat is adjustable, making this a somewhat moot point.

I forgot to add that both of my 460s were/are short wheelbase models. I can't imagine that the long wheel base would be much different, other than perhaps the front seats travel back further...(maybe?)

Definitely, on the SWB my feet reached the pedals at the furthest rear seat travel, whereas on the LWB, I'm at least 6" away from the pedals. The headroom is dimensionally identical between the two, but "seems" lower; probably an illusion due to the additional acreage in front.
