I 3wanna know where you can get the sill plates that have front and back illumination. I called L-tuned and they have the white for the front seat only. Are these from a different supplier? And are they white or blue light?

Lexus OEM sills have front and rear illumination. Color is an option.

Wow! Beautifully done! You ever consider writing technical manuals? Probably couldn't get a job though doing such thorough and detailed work. I think most technical writers secretly want to write mystery novels so they always leave a little mystery when writing 'detailed' instructions.
Although, I am somewhat technically inclined, I wouldn't typically attempt a project on my wife's LS....(yes, I'm scared of what would happen if I mess something up! ) But with your instructions, I think this would be doable.

 

Random they run $ 785 plus about $ 65 shipped to US. Yiou get your choice of white (made for teh LS460 or Blue made for the 600). Ed, I guess you did Blue, does it look okay. I was thinking of going with white, but Blue does stand out more.

I've been meaning to do this for the past year and have not found the time. My wifes GL450 has them in blue as an option and I really like the way it looks. Thanks for the documentation....you do nice work.
