If I were to buy a car, I would never buy a new one and get hit with the highest possible depreciation as the first owner does. I would buy a 2-3 year old car and keep it as long as possible.

If you want to buy a new car, I would wait and get a 2010. As someone mentioned earlier, the difference between 09 and 10 resale value will be huge... really!!

I am indeed going to wait for the 2010's and the dealer 2 miles frommy house can go pound sand now as I have 4 other dealers within 25-50 miles or so they will get the chance.
