When I accelerate at full throttle I get a random harsh smell in my cabin (note - I don't accelerate fast often). It smells almost exhaust like... It literally comes through the vents. Has anyone experienced this? Especially when I have the air conditioning on.

 

Uh oh. I googled it and found a bunch of people claiming many toyota products, including the LS, have a rotten egg smell under heavy acceleration.

 

I have it. I believe there is a TSB out for it that talks about switching gas stations or something like that. My wife has a Toyota Seq. and it does the same thing. So far, I have not been very concerned with this and keep forgetting to ask my dealer to look into it.

 

dude.. that's the melted tires that you are smelling from the burnout...

I have no smell and only run BP 93 octane...

I would let the dealership look into it. If its a common thing for toyota they have worked out the solution already most likely
