For those interested, the promos on ABC for this Sunday's (2/8) episode of Desperate Housewives shows the housewives surrounding Bree's LS 600h L (and she's caressing the steering wheel). The TV listings say "Bree gets a new car."

I believe a GS430 or 300 was also in one of the first few seasons of Desperate Housewives. It was that Beige/Chardonnay color.
I watched the first season of this show, because of Eva Longoria, and because those chics are straight up CRAZY!! It was funny to watch for awhile.

Often thought about getting a Range Rover, but was put off by the mechanical reliability factor. In every other aspect it is a very nice auto.

They took out some fat airtime for it. I wonder how many viewers can actually afford it.
Can't blame Lexus though. Most people don't stick around to watch the real commercials. So you gotta stick it in the show nowadays

Thx for the vid link...that was fast! Made a screengrab of it here. Interestingly, Marcia Cross, who plays Bree, drives a Lexus RX 400h in real life.

Yes, well in the show IIRC she no longer is rich, there was a scene where her Maserati was sold as a used car to a rich family, and to rub it in they were buying it for their housekeeper!
