Speaking of rich people, Lexus cars, and jets, here is a pic I found on Flickr a while back. The caption reads:

This is the way to get to the plane!

Brand new Lexus [GS] pulls up next to our plane on the Munich Tarmac and several VIPs hop out and up the stairs to sit in Biz Class on the way to Berlin.
Evidently rich enough to afford a Lexus, but also VIP enough to get clearance to drive on to restricted Munich airport grounds and board directly.

If all clublexus members pitch in $300 a week toward a fund, we might be able to buy the board a Gulfstream G650, and just pay the usage for maintenance everytime each member flies on it. It's due to come out 2012.

I would pick one up used 2 years. The people who buy these cars are not people who take their cars to the track. so pretty safe to buy a used lexus. That way you can get the bad *** LS for GS price

I doubt anyone has paid 6 figures for this car for quite a while... Today you can buy one in the 80's so in reality if you can swing an L - a 600 is within reach.

I love that the only pic in this thread is one of our own (a Vancouver one that is).

The point here being: LS600hL is way more expencive up here for us than it is down there for you guys. (used or not)

In short: Vancouver is baller

p.s. Burnaby, I still totally love your car.

yes if you are putting it on plastic, what's an extra $300/month if you can pay $1500+/month. I was contemplating hard that I should have went all the way, but since I'm into tuning the car, I decided the 600hl wouldn't be good for my plans
