I tried to reproduce this problem, but I could not even with the power mode.

I am very sure that it happened at least twice but I ignored it. So it could be that the gear box oil was cold, and I drove immediately after ignition.

But in your case it seems to be a persistent issue, and you have 2 choices

1-Ignore it until it gets bigger or goes away
2-Or insist that the dealer do something.

MythBuster,

Thanks again for looking into this. You are correct in that I'm having the problem on a regular basis. I have an appointment tomorrow with the dealer, but they seem to be at a loss. I have asked them to check with Lexus for some answers. I'll keep you posted. If anyone else has had this problem and has come up with a solution, please let me know.
