Yeah, love the cellphone drawer on the LS430.

On the LS600hL, I just leave the phone in its holdster on my belt. Why remove it so that I just forget it in the car.

to clarify

Why would lexus leave those handles with holes? I love putting stuff in that area of the car but can't in the LS 460

Ones with a 'flat' surface tend to collect dust, that's what I've seen on the old ES and other vehicles.

Default Velcro!

Velcro! Be sure to put the "scratchy" side on the car, "soft" side on the phone.

i was going to say something about the dust, but it seems like its the picture quality.

i can understand us in the others are without bluetooth to need to keep the phone readily available. but why do you guys with bluetooth even need it out?

Bluetooth at times is a pain in the tailpipe. For short trips sometimes you just want your phone RIGHT THERE, WITHIN EASY REACH and within EASY SIGHT.

Velcro is the greatest...you just grab it it's there.

but my phone is programmed to connect to the car as soon as the car starts. there is no need to "program" or "connect" every time you get into the car?

just personal preference, no way i am sticking a velcro on the face of the nav unit / dash like that

Velcro won't hurt it one bit. First of all, it cleans up easily when you take it off. Second of all, ITS A CAR...NOT A MUSEUM. Third of all the car is worth crap at trade in time EITHER WAY.

I baby my car, but I also USE my car to my liking.

I say, use whatever works best for you. It's your car, you earned it.

Just don't paint it shocking purple. j/k

Ah, my favorite Simpsons line:

Homer: "Quick! What's the number for 911?"
