We both had the work done by the same place here in California and you can't notice there is anything on our hoods or fenders. Both of our cars have the entire hoods covered as well as the fenders. Good luck!

from my exp at my friend's clear bra shop, you practically cannot see the clear bra if you're looking at the hood when standing in front of the car. if you're standing on the side, you might be able to see the "step" between the film and the normal paint. I just took photos of a new Tundra that my friend did.

i'll post pics when i pull them off my camera.

That question got me laughing to myself as I remembered an old spoof a local radio station here in Boston used to do on commercials that a local car dealer, Framingham Ford, used to run. In place of Framingham, the spoof commercial used the word "Freakin". So they would have lines like -

"come down and meet the whole Freakin' family"

"we'll give you a Freakin' good deal"

"we got your Freakin' Fords right here"

and, of course .......

"have you driven a Freakin Ford, lately?"

They would go on for several minutes. It was hilarious. I wish I could remember all the lines, but you get the idea.
