The color is Smoky Granite Mica and the interior is Alabaster. The interior is a little lighter than I actually expected, but it's cool - I like light interiors. And the Cashmere comes with a black dash if I remember correctly, and I like the cocoa-colored one better ... less contrast.

But lower dash is more of a sandy color, & so are the carpets & leather seats, the the wood trims are a lighter reddish brown instead of dark brown. It doesn't match well with smoky granite.

It was dealer-installed, so I don't know what brand of film it is, but it's 35% and it looks like maybe 20% on the back window. I'll ask about it when I go back, but today was just too hectic and time-consuming to go into details.

Actually, the Cashmere interior has the exact same color upper dash & upper edge on the doors - they are gray vinyl (leather on the 600hL).

I meant to add a couple of things -
1. The car has Dunlops on it, and while I really wanted the Bridgestones (or preferably Michelins!), I rolled over and took them. A test drive at highway speeds didn't indicate any undue tire noise, although they will of course get louder as they wear. I could have made a scene and gotten them changed out, I guess, but I caved in.
2. It has the laminated front side glass, so I don't have to worry about that. I guess they're putting that on all '08's as someone speculated in another thread.
3. I didn't detect any wind noise during my test drive, although my wife said she heard a little of the "turbulence" sound at her window. It was really gusty and windy today, so I'm not surprised at that. I'll keep my ears open for more noise.
4. My build date is 11/07.
5. The mats under the (black) Lexus all-weather mats are a dark brown. Is that "normal" for Alabaster interiors?
Oh, and yes, I have version 7.1 Nav.

Congrats on the car! It is beautiful! Yes, I have Alabaster and it comes with the brown mats. I have had the car for around a year now, and it is pretty easy to keep clean. I have 2 messy boys, and the hardest parts to keep clean is the carpet next to the door sills. Good luck!
