If Infinity (credited as the first manufacturer to put a backup camera in a car) can add an all around view to their new EX (basically 4 cameras), anyone think Lexus needs to match this in the next LS?

if anything i can see the point of front camera. but what are the use of side cameras when we have mirrors already?

Well the LX 570 has the blind spot cameras for multiple angles...and probably needs it, such a huge tall SUV.

I have front and back cameras in my Lambo. The front camera I do use all the time, just when parking, since you can't see squat up front and don't want to hit a curb. The rear camera stays on all the time when driving. It's my real rear view mirror.

Despite the huge blind spots, I can't imagine side cameras. I can see an automated blind spot detection system, though.

yup, same here. since i mod my cars, they are lowered and it's always a challenge getting into a parking spot / curb, so front will help. blind spot detection system would be brilliant (wish they had it on the LS as well)
