My car photos with V-Kool 70 Installed

Pole Position
I called the dealer in north jersey. He's charging $450 for the install plus the cost of the V-Kool. He said the material is about $5/sf? He also said, that V-Kool will not sell in very small quantities unless they already have an open roll. Sounds like too much hassle to me.

hmm...post # 15 says, "can be as much as 12 degrees celsius", which I think is about 8-9 degrees farenheit...so If I leave my car out on a hot day in an uncovered parking lot without the " V Kool" window tint ,my car will get to 140degrees inside. With the "V-Kool" window tint, my car will only get to 131-132degrees Farenheit. So, what's the point of the "V-Kool", with or without, the car gets too hot.

Interesting tint. Very sharp looking, and subtle. Nice.
How do those numbers for UV/IR/Total solar energy compare to the usual dark tints that everyone seems to install here in South Florida?

Still real hot, BTW, but a noticeable difference I would think.

the other way. metallic tint blocks radio and nav signals. ceramic doesn't (shouldn't) affect it. it's "safer"
also, those dark limo tint means nothing if they don't block enough uv light. ceramic tint blocks most of the uv light, which makes the car a lot cooler
btw, i was talking to a lexus tech, the windshield on the ls are supposed to block 100% uv already, with all other windows blocking about 90%. can't confirm if it's true though. but for sure if i get this car, i would put on ceramic tint. quite a bit more expensive than normal tint, but much better
