What does the LED headlamps output look light?
I'm interested in buying a 600hL, however I'm not too sure about the headlamps. However bright Lexus claims they can be, the 460 xenon projectors for a fact, are one of the best in the world. Their width and throw are unmatched. Because I am buying a 600, I cannot get this "standard" lighting. However I would like to know what the LED output looks like. Does anyone have any good pictures?
i don't have pictures, but do you want to swap your headlights with the ls460 hid?
i have only seen pics of them at the japanese launch, and also at the TOL event (day time). i think they are very bright and clear cut.

I don't really see a difference between the LED lights on my LS600hL from those on my previous GS430 or current Mercedes SLK55. I guess the sign of well implemented technology is that you don't notice a difference. The only thing I do notice is that there is a lot more light projected to the side of the car. So when you are on the freeway at night, sometimes I get distracted by the reflection of the lights on the car to my right or left.

I think the main difference is a wider angle like mentioned above, and also a quiker response when turning it on. The greatest benefits I believe are the lower power consumption and higher durability (100,000 hours).

Maybe there's a comparison that can be made--here is the Lexus HK LS 600h L in a promo vid, the HID non-LED lights activate at 0:17...compare with the LEDs on the LS 600h L sold elsewhere.
