Hello Guys ive noticed that i cannot select any of the 3 postitions nor set when im driving the car. When the gear is shifted to P all is ok set and selecting all work.

For the set not to work will driving the car that is normal and im ok with, but being not able to execute the buttons 1,2 or 3 while driving is that normal? or im missing a configuration step here.

 

it's normal. you can only manipulate the buttons when the car is parked. that's the case for other lexus models, i think it will be the same case for this

 

Yeah, it's normal, I think they don't want you to change the driving postion when the car is moving.

 

I think it's pretty well similar for other car makers as well. My Acuras were the same. I can just imagine if position 3 was flat out horizontal, and the switch was tripped accidentally while driving on the highway. However... with Acura, you could adjust them in Accessory mode, whereas with Lexus, you can't.
