The 20" Wald Aufzahlen wheels are 9.5" wide. That translates in 241.3 mm - how wide tires can be on these wheels? 245, 255, 265, 275, 285? I believe the profile would be between 35-40.

So for example, would a 285/40/20 tire fit on that wheel and look decent?

 

9.5, i would do 275. 285 will work but imho it's a bit too wide

 

Are you taking about the front or the rear?

The biggest I have done on the LS is
22x9.0 265/30-22 front
22x11.0 305/25-22 rear

9.5" should be a challenge for the front of the LS due to possible sway bar clearance issues.

 

So I guess the 335's on my other car won't swap out??

So according to SoCalSC4 9" is the ideal for the front - good to know.
