My local dealer will install whatever wheel you want on the car.

Thanks 1sick for starting this thread. Let the pics commence.

Whats a "cut screw" mod?? Does it literally mean cut screw?

its a aftermarket link where the original locator / bracket for the height sensor is shortened / lenghtened to "trick" the car into sitting lower.

Issue with most of these is, the car doesnt know its lower, lowers itself more at speed and ends up resting on the bump stops, so it either raises back up, or blows airbags, etc.

The MB guys have the most success with them (and even thats varied), I know some Porsche guys that tried it and have blown bags, same for Audi guys.

Basically with the regenerative braking system the only consideration that Lexus is monitoring is the weight of the wheels / tires decreasing the amount of energy stored / saved during coasting, etc. Please keep in mind this decrease will be on par with the energy loss of a panic stop, etc.

Theoretcally if the weight stays the same then there is no difference. In most cases the a 20" 3pc Forged wheel will be ligter than a comparable OEM cast 18 or 19".

Always first to the party, ZONE Wheels will have all the specifications from the 1st 600 in the country within a week or so!

Even "Pimp My Ride" doesn't usually stoop to the levels of visual atrocity in this thread. How some people can think these "mods" are improvements is absolutely beyond me! Yes, they are unique, in the same way you could buy a million dollar engagement ring from Tiffany's and then coat it with black paint to make it "unique". Either way, you're ruining beauty.

Wow! Very strong words for someone who has been a member of an enthusiasts site for so long.
I sorta see your point....the higher end the car the less stuff I want to see on it. Wheels and drop are a must for me then maybe some minor things but to each his own. I like these mods although I probably wouldn't do them. Still, strong words.
