Talking 19" wheels on the SWB?

we are probably going to pick up the silver/grey next week. .but we hate the standard 18" wheels.. anyway we could get replacement wheels? the touring wheels look good.. (my sales manager told me there's no such thing as "touring package" on these vehicles )

The touring package is only available on the L version currently. Maybe that will change in the future but it is not now available on the SWB model. See some other threads here on the wheel compatibility issue but bottom line from what I recall in reading earlier is that the 19" wheels will not fit on the SWB model. That's what my dealer (the tech folks, not the sales) told me and what I have read here on CL. Maybe there's some aftermarket alternatives but probably not through Lexus at this time anyway.

Yeah, not the SWB, & what I heard is that the Touring model's 19" wheels won't even fit the regular non-Touring LS460L.

Well, I guess it all depends on what type of suspension(air shocks or coil and springs) and sway bars your car have. I have the air shock suspension on my Taiwan version LS460 SWB with the same sway bar as my brother's LS460L LWB Touring model, does that make my LS460 SWB a "Touring" model? LOL... I fitted his wheels and it worked fine.... so.... it all depends on the suspension system you have. This car even with 20" wheels rides too soft by my opinion. Maybe you can try a set of 20" before you decide which wheel to go with.

very interesting, i guess different countries have different cars. from what i know dealerships are already warned not to put the 19s from touring package on the normal non-touring ls460/ls460l coz' it will rub the sway
