Thumbs up Cleaning the monster

Big pro.....just finished giving my car the first cleaning (hey, it has been 4 days already) and if you are super **** like me when coming to clean your car, you will be happy to know that no where inside the doors, trunk grooves or under the hood there are greese to be found. You can dry up inside those parts mentioned with no fear of getting greese all over the grooves.

Any hints on cleaning the car? Especially to avoid those bothersome swirls. Have yet to clean mine, although it's been 6 days now. Still looking glossy and new.

IMHO since when I bought the SC430 it was the amethist color, talk about high maintenance color. I discover a product through a friend of mine called Zaino Cleaning System. This guy invented a product and he usually is contracted by auto shows to detail the outside of the cars. I followed all the instructions he gives on his website and I started to use his products. I am a loyal customer of his till this date. I will wait 3 months before I do the outside detail since I am sure they use a waxing product already to protect the paint, so I am sure it will be fine for 3 months or longer (not sure though on the stock waxing they use).

If you want to find out more go to google and do a search on zaino brothers show car polish and I am sure you will find the information.

I have used many products out there and I believe these ones are the one less harmful to you exterior colors. Plus in all the years that I have used it I have never ever had a single swirl on my car. The white one is hard to notice but with the amethist no swirl ever showed up.

Hope this help.

Jotafl,

Thanks a lot indeed. You've made my day. I'll research the product and get it posthaste. Swirls were my daily nightmare with my GS400. I dread repeating the experience with my LS460l!

Ah yes, the attention-to-detail in Lexus cleaning. I know the feeling.

You're one of them...

I read about you guys all the time...

Can't figure out why you’re like that. If you dislike Lexus so much, why visit the forums? Why not hang with the Germans and Bulgarians? Why hang out at a place where you are neither wanted nor appreciated?

Beats me....

I guess the world needs people like you to remind people like us that you can never please everyone.

Damn your LS looks so beautiful. Inside and out!! I was actually considering getting the 430 to get that big sedan feel.... but now I just might wait. Congrats
