I called the dealer I have a deposit with and they said they have not heard a thing. They also claim they do not expect to hear anything based on the recent Lexus product launches. They usually do not know pricing until the week the vehicles arrive.

Does anone know where the Sept. 15 price release rumors started?

Well, my Lexus sales rep called me two weeks ago to confirm that on 9/15 they would release prices, and on 10/20 they would be arriving in the showroom. He has been with the dealership for many years and is one of the managers, so I took it as relatively firm information.

I'm scheduled to go to the Taste Of Lexus event tomorrow to test drive the car, so I suspect if we don't hear anything today, I will get some sort of update tomorrow.

I would still suggest if someone has a few minutes, they give Lexus corporate a call for clarification.

It's 9:48 pm where I am, so you can imagine what I'm going through . I've been checking for the last 21 hours and 58 minutes (intensivly in the last 6 hours) but no luck. I went to pressroom.toyota. com, yahoo news, CL.. nothing, nata thing.
I'm getting worried too, very worried, I got a final exam tomorrow and I can't stop thinking about the prices (where are they???)
Why does this always happen to me, whenever I'm expecting important Lexus news, I have exams the next day! Why?

I hope a fully loaded LS460l with auto-parking, LKA, LCC, Pre-colision, Driver monitor assist, Nav, rear seat features without 4 seat ottoman package will be no more then $80k.

You're asking me to unscramble scrambled egg. I don't know if that's possible...
The Lexus LS is the most important vehicle for me, IN THE WORLD, I need to know everything and I mean EVERYTHING about it.
lol

No its not possible to unscramble the egg, lol. Well best of luck on your final exam.

I wonder if it's been delayed till the end of the day here in CA, or next week...

My lexus sales rep said he did not receive the pricing and is now not expecting it until either first or second week of October. Maybe the Taste of Lexus people will know more, but I suspect we all waited for this magical 9/15 date for nothing. The cars are still more than a month away. Maybe Lexus can't decide how much they really want to charge for these things. Who knows...

release date should be today, according to mods, which allows the mods to be able to release the pricing, maybe the mods took the day off to screw with our heads

I would suggest that someone try another Lexus dealer, especially if you have a good relationship with one of the sales people there, and see what they can tell you.

I called one in Los Angeles, but perhaps on the east coast they have more information?

Well, it's nice to know the dealers are playing the same guessing games that we are, which means they are just as much in the dark as the rest of us. Maybe we should just forget the whole thing and buy a Mercedes.
