anyone think the wheels are too small???? maybe it's just me.
Hmm... i wonder if anyone will be crazy enough to convert their LS to the LF-S concept style.. I really liked the LF-S style... only a few cosmetic changes.. like grille and a little bit of stuff in the front air dam.
Not quiet enough for me at the presentation. But also, keep in mind that the car is not a production car, so the car did not have all the insulation, proper plastics, true complete engine or exhaust systems. The presenters stated that the car cannot run more than 5 miles without melting the temporary plastics in the engine. So, no one knows the actual "sound" of the car yet.

It is hard to tell though. The LS, if heard from outside, is not THAT quiet. The LS is pretty quiet on the inside though. We all just heard it from outside. We'll all have to wait for a real test drive to make the call.
just as normal as any lexus v8 you can find out there

Those wheels are 18's btw. But nevetheless, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sure that those wheels won't stay on the car for long.
well lexus is never into pushing the corner in that, they would rather have small wheels, larger tires, and quietness. but then again, i don't quite care about that coz' it's going to be either 20s or 21s anyway

The ML system however was AWESOME!!!
keep in mind, the rep also mentioned that since this is a prototype car, some stuff aren't "finished" and that's why teh engine is going rather "rough". if that's the case, then i think the engine sounds pretty damn quiet for a "rough prototype engine"
when the car first started though, it was a bit loud, but another 10 to 15 secs it quiet down a lot
Another thing I want to add is about the headlights. I want to preface this by saying I love the angel eyes on the BMWs and would do this for my GS if/when I get an opportunity. Purists would not like this idea but it's all good. I like these tyoes of details in the headlights.
Enter the 07 LS. I saw it right away when I saw the glass shroud around the projector. My interest was piqued. We turned the projectors on and the light reflected into the glass ring and formed a halo around the projectors. It is hard to say how this affected light output on the ground since this was done in the daytime. The visual effect on the headight was awesome to me.
Again, not everyone will agree that this is a good thing but it is these details that will keep me a Lexus fan.
