But I thought the whole 'L-Finesse' styling theme was designed to make the models look more similar?

I sure hope that's not what they are going to do. I think it's essential tha the LS maintain a unique look/ You should be able to distinguish at a glace a $70,000 LS compared to a smaller $45,000 GS.

This is essential.

Default Car and Driver has two different versions of the LS460...

Very different versions:

The second one has more body, bigger grill, smoother side panels, aggressive front bumper, lights on side mirrors, and hopefully, those wheels aren't stock...

I like the second one better...

Nice, but it doesn't look a whole lot different from the new GS and IS.....purposely-designed sport-luxury sedans,

And I agree with Koma....the look IMO is too curvy and sporty for a semi-conservative luxury car.....which is the LS's primary mission. The LS is not intended to be a BMW 7-Series fighter.
