Default Changed the back brake pads, now it won't turn over?

I didn't realize there was a drum like brake for the electronic parking brake inside the router and when I popped it off a spring shot out since I didn't use the electronic parking brake I didn't think much of it. Now when I start my car I have a cheap code reader. First it was the 02 for bad. Then the camshaft sensor was bad. Now it's saying the crankshaft sensor is bad. I've changed the mass air flow sensors, the O2 sensor, the throttle body sensor. And then I read that when doing the brakes you need a Device that reads the codes, from Toyota in order to change your brakes, as well as I should have disconnected the battery? Had this happened to anyone else?
