Some updates. Did my front lip since I was doing my 10qt oil change.
Used to spend so much time trying to get perfect flush fitment but I just don’t have the space (live in a condo now) so only did a little sanding. I will say the aimgain fitment is better so far than my artisan spirits kits. Plus I’m old and just made 40 today lol. Oil change and lip install for my bday haha
waiting on my fender washers as this kit is frp and don’t want to risk cracking at mounting points.
Very impressed with aimgain. I did have to bore out the holes A little more which involved constant trips up and down the elevator in my condo.
the mounting points behind the weather trim has such small screws it’s important to make sure there is good surface content with using fender washes and custom square washers. Be sure to use as much large surface contact for mounting for frp.
Two 10mm in the fender well, one on each wheel and one clip mount underneath on each skirt end and two small screws under the rubber trim.
next is the read lip but I need two people for that.
Wheres the love in this forum, trying to contribute! LOL :P
No kit update, just bored at work for my last 50 minutes.
Data controller and harness already at my hotel in Japan for my trip! Was super easy to order on Amazon Japan, assuming its properly there at the hotel.... It would've costed only an extra $120 to ship here to my place in Hawaii but since I'm going Japan soon, i thought i would save $120, about 33% of the cost of the items.
i read the entire thread about the data controller so i hope the ASC680L wired controller with H-087i harness is the right one for the Kouki 2013 model.
Hope to do the rear lip Thursday but rear lips are usually held a lot by double stick tape which i dont want to use yet as obviously its not painted yet. If i can mount it and it feels sturdy without tape, i will likely leave it on but the main stress point is right in the middle from my other kits experiences. This kit actually has a area where you can drill a screw (into your orignal bumper though) and it gets covered with the aimgain emblem, smart idea in my opinion.

update. Finally done with rear lip. Took a long time the damn hot sun. Almost 3 hours. Drill holes, bore holes, test fit but super troublesome solo. Definitely going to want to have a set of assorted screws, nuts and bolts, fender washers, clips, etc.
rear bumper had to be taken off as the splitter had to be taken off. Fitment is 8.5/10 without any sanding. Had to also take the rear wheels off to drill holes. At this point I was tired and annoyed in the sun so didn’t bother sanding for 100% fitment. One side in the fender mounting points, I had to use nylon washers to essentially “pull “ the lip forward the front of the car to minimize the gap.
center screw isn’t absolutely needed if running double stick tape but at the moment I’m not running tape as it’s not painted so I screwed it in which means a hole in the stock bumper.
I had this idea of a dual exhaust tip on each side but it’s not centered. You would need a slightly angled exhaust tip. Seen some post with some folks with dual exhaust tips on each side which looks sporty. Going to look into that later.
side fender well area started cracking, triple mounting screws. Center mounting points decided with bolts and nuts and screws and skips are too risky for me.

Next up is the data controller. I’ll likely update the data controller thread as this thread is done with the install.
highly recommended aim gain over artistian spirits. The spirits kit took significantly more work aaannnnd I lived in a house at the time with a garage.
