Default Brake Pad Sensor

Just noticed my brake sensor went off but my pads still have a lot of life left on them.

Took the front passenger wheel off and noticed that the sensor wire was ripped off.

I just bought a new sensor and wanted to see how difficult it is to replace the sensor. Do I need to take the pads off or it basically plug and play?

Thx!

For the most part they’ll go into the slot but there is a lock plate that goes on it to help secure it in place. Otherwise it just comes out
