Just had car get an alignment and inner and outer tie rods done. After I did lower control arms. No light was on until after he did his work. I can manual push button to shut the traction control off but this only indicates a separate light next to it saying off. Anyone know what could be the issue? It’s raining here bad not sure if that’s relevant.
Sometimes the trac light comes with the cel light just on principle e.g. there's a transmission fault and it could affect the trac. I can't see if the cel is on in the pic but if it's not just disconnect the batt for a few minutes and if it's a soft code it will usually disappear.
How many drive cycles did you go through before the car got to the alignment shop? does the steering wheel stay centered when you drive it?
Maybe the guy was reefing on the wheels back and forth while it was on the turntables for a sweep, I would try to never do that unless the car was running.
All great info. Backstory this is the first time I drove the car. Bought it couple months ago and did Suspension right away. I can tell you it drives awesome. Quiet. Straight. Had no lights on when I got car besides tire pressure (fixed now) and than today the anti slip light. I’m assuming something shop did but of course he claims ignorance. I will drive for about 80 miles tomorrow and see if it goes away. Maybe hook computer up and clear any codes and lastly unplug battery. Not much info online unless like all 3 lights on which they are not.
