Default 2011 LS Control Arms

I know this subject has been beaten to death, but I would like to know why individuals don't just replace the bushings versus the whole control arm assembly? I found a YouTube video on how to replace the bushings and that is what prompted this question. Everyone seems to want to replace the whole control arms and maybe there is a solid reason to do this versus just the bushings. Thanks for any information on this subject.

I do on uppers, however, I tried to do lowers as well but it didn't work. Bushing metal casing was too soft to be pressed it. I ruined couple of bushings and decided to purchase entire control arms. If you have a press and can freeze bushing before pressing them in, you might have a better luck than me.
