How to get in with dead battery if key doesn't work?
Car is dead and the hidden lock in drivers door, which I've used before, isn't working for some reason. I tried WD40 on it, but it didn't help. It's a 2007 four seater if that matters. Any help would be much appreciated.
Do you have a fridge or no? If no use the key on the trunk to get that open and use a long lever/stick something to reach a handle and get a door open.
If the wireless-electronic-key battery is dead, it might seem that the car battery is dead. Be sure you rule that out before you do something destructive.
Try a couple more shots of WD40, or 3in1 oil or Marvel Mystery Oil and let it set overnight.
I had this happen to me a couple years back. You'll need to soak they keyhole a few times and just wiggle the key every so often to get it to loosen up.
