Catalytic Converter Temperature

Hey guys,

Does the difference between these cat temperature readings look okay? I keep reading they should be slightly hotter down stream not 40% colder.

If you don't get an error message regarding reduced catalytic converter efficiency, you should be OK.

If the material in the cat was broken up and clogging exhaust that secondary o2 sensor might still read right though yeah?

Im chasing some low power performance issues.

After driving for 2 hours at 80 mph at 2100 RPM, both upstream Temps = 681 C, both downstream Temps = 516 C. Ambient air temp was 78 F. I'm chasing a P0430 code currently (Bank 2 decreased efficiency). I had manually put the engine at 4000 RPM for ~10min and the upstream got to ~800 C, downstream was ~675 C.
