Default Fault Code C1201 ABS VSC TRC Lights Up

Good Day & hello from Malaysia.

My 2006 (Japan version) LS460 was triggerred the fault code C1201 & P0985 earlier.

The P0985 i had replcaed the Solenoid E for the transmission and was ok at the moment, however the fault code C1201 unable to resolve at this moment.

During the incident, the ABS, VSC, TRC lights was light up and the brake is harden in somehow, and the worst thing is the gear is not changing after the warning light pops up.

I'm considering to replace my brake disc rotor and brake pad as well since kinda worn as now, and i'm can't firm my repair direction if i should go to the ABS sensor first or really have to replace the Brake Actuator as it is cost a bomb in my country here.

Appreciate everyone can please share your experience or encounter, and suggestion idea to resolve this issue.

Thank you,
Warm Regards,
Eric Wong

I mean have you serviced the brake fluid in this car? Has the brake fluid been serviced regularly. The ABS Actuator is a known issue with the LS460's. If it's crap then you have to replace it. But I'd do a full brake fluid system bleed/service 1st. There are many write ups about this here.

The code C1201 usually comes with another code, in your case the solenoid P0985, just guessing but because you just had the trans pan off I would double check the fluid level there before replacing any more parts.
