Hi all,

I have been hunting for a used LS 460 for few weeks and have stumbled upon a perfectly well maintained, low mileage (just 68k on the odometer) car and itching to buy it. The dealer is not willing to negotiate it at all. I have test driven the car and it is in immaculate condition, inside and out. I wanted to check the following:

1. Though the car is in good condition, is $16k too much for it?
2. Does the water pump need to be replaced at 70k miles or it can wait?
3. Anything specific I need to get inspected?

Few points to consider:
1. Dealer confirmed they have replaced two tires and the wiper blades.
2. Front rotors and brake pads were replaced
3. I will be the third owner, the second owner had it for about 10 years and had an average mileage of 4k per year

Hi. I think it's too much. Have you looKed at a car fax? Has the car been wrecked? The 07-09 years do not offer bluetooth audio. You will be limited to very old tech. Yeah they make a dongle you can add to your car, but it's not the same. If you are limited to price, and have to have an LS460, I'd consider spending just a bit more. Try cars.com and look around.
