This morning I just noticed my driver side mirror would not unfold. I tried to cycle a few time but absolutely nothing could be heard and the motor was not making any noise trying at all. I tried forced it and it did "snapped" out with a bit of force but after that it was really loose. I tried to cycle again but absolutely nothing happened. Finally I flexed it outward until it "snapped" and immediately stopped so at this point it was not flush in normal position but a little outward (a position it usually never go mechanically). After that I tried closing it and could hear the motor. That last part I can't recall 100% but I think I pressed the button to open it again, unsnapped to from it's outward position to normal and after that it started working normally. You might want to try this before running to buy a new mirror.
